The business of preservation cannot endure without the presence of committed, informed communities who appreciate history. Preserving Eagle’s Nest, an exhibition presented by the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum, will highlight the processes and outcomes of preservation initiatives. The exhibition—using artifacts and archival drawings and photographs— will emphasize the techniques of skilled artisans and the preservation efforts needed to ensure that William K.
