Engagement, Maternity or Family Photos

Thank you for considering the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum as the location for your celebratory photos! Personal photo shoots, including engagement, maternity and family portraiture are scheduled for 2 – 2 1/2-hour sessions; times vary based on the season. The Museum is located on the historic Eagle’s Nest Estate. All the buildings, the cobblestone roads, the grounds, the gardens, and the courtyard are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the New York State Register of Historic Places. As such, all visitors must be respectful of the property, and extra precautions are required to be taken by all users of the property. A Vanderbilt attendant will escort you around the property for the duration of your session. Your group cannot exceed 5 guests.

All photos are to be taken outdoors on the 43-acre estate. You will have access to:

The Courtyard

The Arcade

The Sundial Garden

The Quatrefoil Garden

The T Pool

The Wishing Well Garden

The Rose Garden

The Corinthian Columns

*Please note that depending on the day and time of your photo shoot, certain areas of the property may not be accessible or will be occupied/shared with other patrons
