In his will, William K. Vanderbilt II wanted to GIVE his Eagle’s Nest estate to the people of Suffolk County for, in his own words, “the education and enjoyment of the public.”
Together we can continue to build on his mission, while we experience living history and explore the stars!
Today, more than 115,000 people visit year-round and enjoy Mansion tours, natural-history and marine galleries, the Planetarium, and intriguing programs – while strolling the beautiful waterfront grounds. Mr. Vanderbilt’s legacy also enables more than 25,000 schoolchildren to participate annually in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) education programs.
Consider donating to these initiatives!
Donate to the Annual Fund and support the educational and curatorial offerings that have come to define the Vanderbilt as a true cultural resource. Your generous donation will contribute directly to advancing our tradition of excellence in STEAM education.
With your support, we can revitalize the Learning Center, transforming it into a modern education center and flexible venue for receptions, events, theater productions, workshops, social gatherings, and community outreach events and meetings.
Feel generous now by giving later. Please consider the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum in your Estate Planning. The Vanderbilt Museum’s EIN is 11-6037002. We appreciate your support towards a bright future.
Life is good when you GIVE!
