Wizard University: A Summer of Mystery, Adventure and Fun at the Vanderbilt Museum
The Vanderbilt Museum and Planetarium Plans Second Annual Summer Program for Kids Ages 6-12
Slimy potions and galactic exploration, giant sea creatures and Egyptian mummies. These and other summer enchantments await the adventurous kids who enter the fascinating world of Wizard University at William K. Vanderbilt II's Eagle's Nest Estate.
Students will be divided into houses named for the men and woman who helped shape the Vanderbilt Museum. (Students can influence their choice of house, too.) Weltfish House focuses on anthropology, world cultures and exploration. Yellin House emphasizes history, crafts and the arts. Boone House looks at ichthyology and natural history. Sharp House deals with astronomy and science.
